This is what a group of 25 people did, who VAVAVA accommodated in the pretty “Vic Seminary“, in the capital of the Osona region. As well as feeling very comfortable in the Seminary, they had very good food and some enriching strolls. The Seminary is a 5-minute walk from the beautiful old quarter of the city of Vic. It offers modern rooms with air conditioning, Internet, free Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV and private bathroom. The buffet-diner of the Seminary serves traditional Catalan cuisine.
Fancy a stay in Vic?
With VAVAVA!

This is what a group of 22 people from the MAP Foundation decided, to travel to Toledo and discover the charms of this Imperial city. The hotel they chose was the 3-star Real de Toledo in the ancient quarter of this city of the so-called three cultures. Many thanks to the MAP Foundation for their trust and also to the people who from 2 to 5 January enjoyed the trip and the stay.

Whether you want to go alone or in a group, with friends or relatives, in VAVAVA we make it easy. Tell us what your dream is and we will help make it come true. Ah! And if you are responsible for organising trips and activities in a third sector entity, put the problems to one side and trust VAVAVA to manage them! Best prices, guaranteed adaptability and accessibility and special care for the particular needs of each member of the participating group.

We are pleased to give you some very good news: The “la Caixa” Foundation, through its Obra Social Department, has awarded VAVAVA its Social Entrepreneurship Prize for 2015. 20 business initiatives were awarded by “la Caixa” from 299 candidates from all around Spain in the fifth edition of its social entrepreneurship programme. The aim of “la Caixa” is to help to turn social entities into companies capable of being sustainable by selling products or services, without having to depend on subsidies.
VAVAVA, the agency of travel and activities adapted for people of different capacity, an initiative of the Sique Private Foundation in Badalona, appeared in 2013 in reply to the special tourist, leisure and sociability needs of a group little attended by the general channels. In less than three years, VAVAVA has given its services to more than 3,000 customers.
The prize, which gives VAVAVA a strong impulse for its consolidation, consists of giving winning initiatives for large tools: economic support; training tailored through a course on entrepreneurship and the management of social enterprises given by IESE; management accompaniment for one year with a professional mentor and legal support with advice from the Uría office; and networking, as the winning entities become part of the “la Caixa” network of social entrepreneurs.

“The Laus Evening of Graphic design and Communication 2014.” The jury awarded me with the Laus Bronze prize in the Naming category for VAVAVA, the name of a new travel agency for people of different sensorial, physical, mental and intellectual capacity.
It is obvious that I want to share the prize with the customer, the Sique! Foundation for people of different intellectual capacity. When a little over a year ago I presented them with my suggested name for their travel agency, they answered with the predictable “what?!” Despite the surprises and doubts when first hearing VAVAVA, they ended up accepting the argument on which my bold proposal was made and took it on board.
Today we have all accepted the brand name VAVAVA, even its customers, who answer it very well and, more importantly still, respond to it by contracting the services of the agency. A double success!
Lluís Lleida, Namer.

VAVAVA argument
The mission of the agency is to motivate and encourage disabled people to discover a world without limits, free of barriers and full of possibilities to turn their free time into a thrilling, intense, vibrant and enriching experience. As a value proposal, the agency offers them destinations and activities with a guarantee of adaptability and accessibility.
The name of the agency encourages movement, drives one to action and awakens curiosity over discovery. Of course, it also establishes a difference with respect to any other, and especially the generalist travel agencies.
The name VAVAVA gets its inspiration from the cry of encouragement and motivation “go, go, go!” It is “different”, like the people for whom the agency is conceived, coherent with the Sique naming line, easy to remember and surprising when you first hear it, which makes people say “who?”, bringing out the commercial argument.

Thanks
I thank the management team of the Sique! Foundation for their confidence, and especially Samuel and Montse, the jury of the Laus awards and Javi Gil, of La Bienvenida Studio, who did the graphic work (logo and corporate image of VAVAVA), and had the fortunate idea of putting the name out to competition.
